It was my first visit the two women at the front desk or really nice then the lady that did my x-rays was very sweet so also and understanding. then the doctor popped his head in and said hi sweetie before he even had to. which made me feel at home then when it was time for for him to come in my room to examine my teeth he was very patient. Going back for my actual work on my teeth I'll let you all know how everything goes I'm very petrified of dentist and they don't have the laughing gas option they only have the oral medicine. we'll see how this goes.

Update: Went to Arkansas Family Dental (highly recommend, separate review coming for them) the following day and they had no problem running my insurance. They also made a follow up appointment while I was there and did not offer to “call back”. So basically the ladies in the business office at Aspen Family Dental in Bryant are extremely inexperienced and incompetent. They called today and left a message (it is two days later, mind you) and basically said they won’t be able to help me until I myself call my insurance company and sort things out. Don’t waste your time here. Go elsewhere especially if you don’t have insurance. I know they have to get paid, but when you have people in pain, try showing people a little compassion.

Very caring and listen to the patients concerns and what they want. Very glad I found Dr Shark & staff. Office clean & well-maintained. I feel like I’m in good, knowledgeable hands. New opinion-see below!!

Oh my goodness Dr Sharks and his staff was amazing. This is my first visit here and definitely wont be the last. Everyone was super nice and very proffessional. The wait time was a bit much but it was worth the wait. Thank you all.

I had a great first experience at Aspen Dental in Bryant. The staff was very friendly and I appreciate the fact that they take their time with their patients. I never felt rushed or like they were hurrying to "get me out of the way" and move to the next patient. And Heather up in the front office was so helpful while discussing my insurance coverage and my bill information. I will definitely be returning in 6 months! :)

I came in with a swollen jaw. I waited in the waiting room for an hour. They didn't even start to validate my insurance until I was there for 30 minutes. The girl told me that my insurance was inactive. I told her I just used it a month ago for my cleaning. Honestly I didn't care about that at the time. I would have paid cash and I told her that. Please just call me to the back. Once I got to the back, everything was pleasant. Then, the doctor said he could do my extraction the next day. That was fine. He wrote me some prescriptions and sent me to the front. The front desk ladies did not schedule my follow up appointment. They said they would call that afternoon. NO CALL! I called them at 5:15. No answer! They don't close until 6. I think i was being discriminated against because my insurance didn't work or she wasn't running it right. I had to make another appointment with an entirely different dentist who guarantees same day extractions. I wasted so much time and I'm still in pain. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. It was very unprofessional.

I do have to say it went very well after those two pills I didn't really care if she gave me a shot or not but Shannon was gentle very gentle. She will be the only one that I'll take a shot from LOL I went back for my dental work and I've got most of all of it done I was very satisfied and very at home. everyone makes you a part of their family at Aspen Dental at least in my case. these are pictures of me getting my teeth bleached after having all the work done on them... I have to say they look spectacular!!

I have had a lot of dental work done over my life & have never had anyone be so rough & unconcerned about the amount of pain I was feeling during a procedure. It is my belief he was agitated with me because of conflict he & I had (he made a rude comment & I confronted him on it) before my procedure & he took out his frustration with me on me as he worked on my mouth. That is the only explanation I can possibly think of given the difference in the way my 1st procedure went compared to the 2nd.

Edit!!! Warning! Although I did have a great 1st visit, I’ve since been treated VERY poorly by Dr Shark. In my opinion, his name fits him well! He is rude, condsending, unprofessional, vengeful, inappropriate, & has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I’ve ever seen. I could say more, but hopefully you get the idea & steer clear of this man. Most of his staff are great & plesant, but they have his back, even after he has treated a patient poorly.
